I NEED SEASON 2 OF THIS SHOW!

At this point, there are no objective signs for whether or not it will be renewed. I thought the ratings were pretty good, they average about 8 mil, but it is obvious the ratings are unsatisfactory for renewal. At this point it will be whether or not the network is willing to take a chance. There just has to be someone there who believes in the show. They will probably gauge reactions to the finale and ask the writers what they plan for S2 as an improvement. I feel the network wants this; they ordered more episodes right away. But at the end of the day it is a business and they have to produce numbers. They will probably be willing to do another season if the writers really whip something out to impress. Or maybe give them a probationary period for the next season. They might feel it fair to let the show come back and judge it's success after the midseason finale next season, and cut it there or choose to go forward.

They might even prolong the next season for a year or more if they feel the writers can improve the show with a revamp. I have experienced year or more gaps in between a first season and second. These were not for cancelled shows it just for whatever took a good while to come back. I guess it could be for whatever reason - maybe the main character was filming a movie or someone had a child. I dont know the reasons. But I perceive big gaps like that to be the network saying "you have one last chance to get your sh*t together, make it good".
