What happens to the clothes?

So...
About Henry reappearing naked. Where did the clothes go? They obviously weren't left behind and he was, as stated, naked when he appeared again.
Seems like he would need to clothes shopping quite a lot considering how often he died.

And about the watch. That time it was found in the car I seem to remember him dropping it before he died (therefore not on him as he died). But in the last episode I don't recall him having it out so it should have disappeared with him.
Though it's never on his person when he reappears. Shouldn't he lose it every time he dies? And if on his person should it not disappear with everything else. As in, be gone like his clothes?

Or maybe hid clothes just go back home to his wardrobe? What do I know?
I also assume he carries some kind of wallet. Seems like a hassle to lose that all the time.

Whoever transported him to the spaceship and fixed him have kept the clothes. It is like Starship Enterprise's transporter. To save time, they probably need to cut the clothes open in the sick bay fast. The clothes are thus ruined.

Different deaths have different turn around time as Henry and his assistant observed. It is a clue that more severe deaths need more time for aliens to fix.

Henry resets, effectively. The clothes didn't exist when he died for the first time, so they cease to exist. That's why the watch survives - it did exist all that time ago.

So where is the watch then? Is he holding it when he comes out of the water (could have happened, but I don't remember seeing it)? Is it shoved up his ass?

reply

One time it was in the bottom of the car that he died in, another time it was found lying in a train, another time on a floor.
