Will this get a second chance?

I think Netflix and all other other networks passed on it over the summer. 3 things give me a little hope however, the first is that Forever still seems to have a very loyal and very vocal fan base even after 8 or so months of it being officially cancelled, the fact that the show in Forever's time slot isn't doing as well as Forever did, and the fact that Netflix seems to want to expand to more original programming (House of Cards, the Marvel TV shows, Fuller House, some show with Aziz Ansari, etc.)

A big hangup though is that Alana de Garza who played Jo is currently on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders which is scheduled to premiere in March. I really can't see Beyond Borders doing any better than the other Criminal Minds spin-off from a couple of years ago but if CBS does pick it up for a full season I could see that causing some networks from wanting to revive it.

If she's filming another show, I believe they work around it since a lot of the series are at most 13 episodes & it doesn't cause much conflict since she isn't on one of the top 3 networks.
