What happens to his clothes?

When he dies, he ends up in the East river, his watch is left at the scene. Where do the clothes go? Perhaps the discount rack at Filene's?

They are converted to energy to power his regeneration and transfer to the nearest body of water.

Right? Definitely. But why not the watch? Forget killing weapons. That's the real mystery.

The two times he regenerated when he had the watch in his possession, he dropped it before he died. Then it was recovered at the scene afterwards.
