Schnitzel. Same as with New Amsterdam. I worried about that when I saw the show had the same premise. What, tv execs don't like long-lived protagonists unless they swing a sword?!

shareIt's sad to see another nice show getting cancelled. There are several shows on that "renewed" list that I wouldn't choose over Forever. It really had a lot of potential with a new love interest for the main character. But I guess they kind of concluded with the main antagonist being all paralyzed FOREVER, and the only way found by him to kill themselves after searching for 2000 years failed to do so.
We should know that there can be several reasons for the show to be cancelled other than another show being chosen over it. I like to console myself by thinking that they did not have a good enough script/plot to continue it's fun standards so they let it end at a high rather than showing a bad second season. That's how I would prefer it.

But the reality is, these idiot tv execs go by the *beep* Neilssen boxes, which seem to have been put into every moron's house in America. Maybe they should see what other country's ratings are first, but oh no, can't do that because nothing exists outside of America. Get Netflix to pick it up.

Problem with these intelligent, good story shows without sex and violence is their lack of action. They demand you to follow, but don't give fast paced eye candy. Game of Thrones and Walking Dead fill that void with violence and sex. Al these shows demand you to watch.
Those reality tv shows don't demand much following and you can multitask same time. It is easy to watch them 1,2-1,8 times faster and still play with tablet or phone missing anything vital. So people prefer these stupid shows.
People also want to feel smart, so they like to watch stupid reality shows, not smart crime solvers.
Maybe it is time to forget tv and return to reading.

Damn it was one of best new shows. Hover i think Henry had to die more often and than come up with silly/funny excues etc. And also show needed more flashbacks.
