Wouldn't it be better to compare BW to WW1984 than F9

After all both are female lead superhero movies.

Both superhero/actresses have been in multiple movies

Both released in the pandemic.

Both movies released in cinemas and streaming together

Both would normally have been expected to make roughly 600-800m range pre-pandemic.

Why even compare it to Fast furious movies which pre-pandemic was a billion dollar franchise and getting bigger and F9 would have likely atleast made 1.2+ billion.

No, theaters were closed last year . F9 is the best comparison. Just subtract China boxoffice from F9.

even so unfair comparison wise its like comparing ant-man to avengers.

WW84 you can double up would be a more fair comparison as both are about equal and even then BW would be a lower expectation b movie character then WW84 would have been a A list Trinity character.
