Julianne Moores accent

Anyone else find it disturbingly bad? Just terrible, I seriously thought it was a joke at first, like really I thought she was trying to be whacky and funny. Lmao

As a Dane I found the accent to be embarrassing. It didn't sound anything like a Danish-English accent, not even a tiny bit. She sounded like someone exeagerating and making fun of a German accent.

Agreed. I dont have a great ear for the Danish accent, but it didn't sound like any real accent, it sounded like someone trying, and failing, to do an accent. I don't know why so many good actors, at least American actors, really can't do accents, but it's incredibly distracting when they can't. Either get them a good accent coach, re-write the part, or 'just cast someone else. No one went to see this movie because Julianne Moore was in it (I didn't even know she was until watching it), but her performance sure turned me off. Any competent Danish actor I'd never heard of would have been better for the part.

Her accent was weak, but her character was worse. Completely unbelievable and overdrawn, even for satire. Julianne has made some unfortunate choices in roles and portrayals over the years, and here's another. But I still love her.

she was. like really, its a movie

This movie fails as a Scandinavian accent documentary. Damn them to hell!
