It is. Their marriage won't last. Even more ridiculous is that whatever it is she's doing, it's not really a job. At first I gave her credit for working to bring some money in when he got laid off, but this is an impasse they won't ever breach.

She's totally into Miami because she just VACATIONED there and seen everything about it through rose-colored glasses. LIVING there is a whole different ballgame. Models are a dime-a-dozen in Miami and she will have heavy competition for gigs. Rent is AT LEAST double what it is in Okie. There are scant few jobs for engineers anywhere in Florida. To move a household these days can hardly be done for under two grand (money they don't have). She doesn't want to consider any of these things because Life's A Beach in Miami...or at least that's the immpression her VACATION gave her. Someone needs to knock those rose-colored Foster Grants off her head. And the photo work she had done is nothing to write home about.

In OKC she is probably pretty hot. In Miami she is average at best.

It didn't seem like she was totally honest either when she was telling her parents about the modeling. Didn't she make it seem like he was upset with just her modeling in bikinis and didn't say anything about being topless?

Either way, I won't be surprised when this marriage ends.

Exactly... Paola conveniently spoke to her parents in Spanish and failed to tell the story the way it actually happened- she added her skewed story telling so they would better side with her argument. I still can't get over how she obnoxiously and rudely laughed when her parents said, "It's easier to find a new husband than a new career". I love how she describes her "modeling" or whatever it is she does as career-worthy. She is a classless selfish b*tch.
Russ needs to wake up!

If Russ watches the show he was probably doubly humiliated when he saw this scene. I hope his friends and family encourage him to re-think his marriage after watching this season too. As for Paola's "modeling" career, yeah, good luck.

I like the real professional look of those topless photos where she's basically in the scrubby ditch between the beach and a parking lot. Awesome composition there Scavullo. And they would have looked a helluva lot better if her cut-offs weren't so baggy.
"I want to move to Miami for a modeling career." Yeah you and hundreds of other latina's every month. 16-year-olds with real professional portfolios are more aware of their chances for success than this chick is.
