Can anybody answer why so many women on this show want to be models? If not more...
I recall Kirylam, Cassia, Paola and Anfisa.
Aside Karylam I don't believe any to be that incredibly good looking.

Good question. IDK. But Paola is gorgeous. I see her more as an actress or celebrity than model. She's got that it-factor. Charming. Seems like she'd have your back if you were friends. Like noncompetitive and will share the spotlight with other people. She would be a good ambassador of something. She's pretty enough to be a model for sure.

Yeah, too bad. He's a fame-blocker. People who are born to shine must shine. Maybe one day he'll realize this and become like Loretta Lynn's husband and just get out of the way. Not like Joe DiMaggio who tried to have Marilyn Monroe all to himself. (Yes,I watch a lot of bios).

More like, she has that Instagram factor.

Colombianas with big asses and small waists who spend all day at the gym or shopping for hair extensions while they aren’t working are getting to be a dime a dozen.

Because they can model and make money just by having their photos taken without speaking much English.

Kirylam was gorgeous to me but because of her strange husband, I cannot see her ending up really modeling unless it was for some Mormon clothing catalog.

Cassia, I could see her doing like topless modeling or things for bathing suits but not beyond that because she has a trashy look about her.

Paola has a jacked up face to me and I've said it before, she looks like a cartoon character to some degree with the overly injected fake lips and breast implants. To me she would most likely do the same type of modeling as Cassia because they are really nothing special in the looks department.

Anifa, same thing as Cassia and Paola but Anifa actually to me looked really pretty in her photos. She must have great makeup artists or retouching because when she's not in photos, she's a butterface.

Agree with everything you wrote. The sad reality is the most of these women would never get any further than adult modeling or movies.

Agreed! She's very pretty and has a body for maybe swimsuit modeling. She is not SUPERMODEL material. I wish people could understand that because someone is attractive to YOU, does not a supermodel make, lol. She's definitely pretty, very sexy, but she isn't anything special facially. She really isn't. And her body type is not supermodel type. Mine isn't either. People should read up on what an actual SUPERMODEL or runway-worthy model must adhere to in the looks department. She is a sexy woman but swimsuit material at best. I think she is delusional quite frankly as is Anfisa about what being a REAL MODEL takes. Anyone with a decent face and sexy body can take their clothes off. But you must be so much more than that for legitimate modeling. There really is no two ways about it. She has fake hair woven into her head, looks like she got a few injections or something(can't quite pin point it but obviously other people agree), and has huge boobs and a nice butt. She's sexy. That's it. And has a bad attitude that was called the "it factor". Lol being a brat isn't "charming" or "charismatic".

I'm pretty sure that nobody (including Paola) ever mentioned anything about being a supermodel.

Everyone knows most supermodels are taller, lanky, and somewhat flat-chested. Clothes drape on those types better, good for the runway. But those models don't define the entire modeling industry.

Funny, if someone's sister, aunt, niece, daughter, or whatever posed for print ads, catalogs, commercials, or even calendars, a lot of people here would change their definition of "model" and would use the word more inclusively and boastfully.

If Jennifer Lopez, Lupita Nyong'o, Scarlett Johansson, Mindy Making, Melissa McCarthy, Stacey McKenzie, Lena Dunham, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tina Fey, and the list could go on, would have received initial advice from some of you, they would never have followed their dreams or stepped out of their front doors. How sad.

Some of these women want to be models. Good for them. Someone will take their picture, they will receive pay, it will be printed or shown somewhere. Guess what? That makes them a model. The deal is not that big.

And look who they can look to for inspiration now, more than most of us. The first lady, Melanie what's-her-name. She was never a "beauty" nor a "supermodel" and was foreign. One day a US first lady may look just like Paola. That day is gonna come.

But even before then the standard criteria for models will change as demographics changes redefine the model-type. Shorter, curvier, and browner, may become the new standard. Nothing ever stays the same.

Bingo! I mean some day we will have a latina first lady and she may look just like Paola. And, if so, that's good because Paola would be a beautiful FLOTUS. And if she keeps her clothes on, she won't have to have sunk to the level of the soon-to-be first lady who has really had a lack of judgment when it came to her modeling career. Ick! Her photos were so distasteful.

Better to aspire to Paola than the likes of the modeling career of the soon-to-be first lady.

In comparison, Paola's photos seem a lot less risque than Russ made them out to be.

Yes. Every pretty girl thinks they can be a model because everyone tells them that, so he is throwing tantrums over something that isn't even real. That "contract" that she has to PAY a fee for? Yeah, that's not how it works. So both of them are being silly making this their specific argument because that's not their real issue and I'm kind of over them. But, yeah, he's acting as if she's done a Playboy-like spread. I'm sure I've seen "worse" on the cover of Maxim. And then there's the Sports Illustrated "Body" issue. Hers were just as strategic, nothing provocative or gratuitously revealing. He's a ridiculous prude.

In fairness to Melania, if you didn't know about her nude modeling past, she appears very classy and confident IMO. She's fairly intelligent too. She is poly-lingual and I think has a degree in architecture or something.

I really didn't think Paola's photos were that bad. Her topless pictures didn't even show her breasts since the photo was of her from the back. The photos seemed more boudoir style to me. I know she had side boob photos, but I would not say her photos were nude photos at all. They even seemed tame compared to like FHM and Maxim.

I agree that Melania hasn't been getting the most fair treatment, but intelligent? That's still to be determined. For one it's not uncommon for Europeans to be multilingual. Most Europeans, know at least three different languages. I have a Russian cousin, and he knows 4 languages, dialects, etc. my best friend is Italian and she knows 3 languages. it's mostly Americans that only know one language. As for her architecture degree... I believe they did some digging and found out that there was no proof that she graduated with a degree.. And the school she claimed she went to didn't know who she was. I think they've come to the conclusion that she dropped out of high school to pursue a modeling career. Which had been presumed in the past. That can be proven

But here's the thing: Russ PAID for Pao's pictures, so did Jorge for Anfisa's and so on. That's not a modeling "carrerrr". It's investing a butt load of money in something to feed your girlfriend/wife's ego and delusions.
