Her first thought was of herself when Russ tells her about a potential job opportunity in Washington. She really doesn't know much of the United States, yet she knows enough to love Miami and not want to consider anywhere else. He makes sacrifices like letting her pursue her modeling dream ( insert laugh)
He thinks with regard to them as a couple..like a married person should, she thinks only of herself. Changing her name after taking his is completely disrespectful. She truly doesn't deserve him- he's a nice guy- not an easy thing to find these days. I remember her once saying that she doesn't like Colombian men as they are too macho. Coming from a Latin country, I think you may be a bit too harsh on her:
