How do we know Chantel used a fake name and her real name is Aquanetta? I've looked online quite a bit and haven't found any evidence of this. I'm not doubting it at all, I just wanted to see the info for myself because I'm curious. Thanks in advance

If you simply go by logic and know her brother's name is River, and her sister is Winter, you would think that her real name is something having to do with nature. I know Aqua is water, but for gawds sake, Aquanetta? Only cruel, cruel people would do that to a child.

Aquanetta sounds very ghetto. River and Winter sound more hippie. Like River Phoenix. So it does not fit.

As far as knowing if River and Winter are the brother and sister's real names, once again another thing to think of logically. If producers were going to change their names, it wouldn't be too smart to use names like that then take a total 180 degree turn and use Chantel. She would have been Flower, or Moon, or Aqua (Netta)

Actually the phoenixes are the perfect example that a winter and river could have a sister named Chantal. river had four siblings. Three sisters and one brother. His brother is of course Joaquin Phoenix. Joaquin is biblical, totally not hippy. And definitely doesn't fit with river, Rain, Liberty and Summer. So much so, when he was a child actor he changed his name to Leaf so that he could have a nature name like his siblings, reverting back to Joaquin as an adult.

I do realize that Joaquin was stuck in there with the 3 siblings, but his parents must have noticed immediately there was something different about him. To me it is obvious. I am sure many will disagree.

I think Ce'Air falls in line w/the nature theme names of her sibs, Winter and River.
Moreover, Chantall is a French name, and the parents seem to do that with her first name. Although, it should be spelled C'Air, which means air in French.
So, the kids' names are: Air, Winter, and River.
