I wouldn't give Anfisa 1 more penny even for the plane ticket back home. I would let her ungrateful, disrespectful, gold digging ass figure out that part on her own.

Does anyone else think Anfisa is nowhere near as attractive as SHE thinks she is? IMO, she's good looking, but not gorgeous, or stunning, I feel sad that Jorge is seeing something that (again, imo!) no-one else on the Planet can see. Sure, he's a fool, he has too much money in relation to how wise he is regarding "affairs of the heart" - he fell so over the top in love (more likely lust/desire/my pals will be SO impressed!) and he never should've promised her a life full of materialistic crap, that's what Anfisa fell in love with, Jorge's 💰 generosity....💲....bank account 🏧........not Jorge.
Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot - than to open it and remove all doubt!

I don't blame her for behaving like a spoiled brat - I blame Jorge for putting up with it.
If they marry as it seems they might he will be miserable. But he knows that now and is going ahead so he deserves it. For a trophy wife...but she's not all that. And has the personality of a wolverine.
If they marry she will take him for EVERYTHING he's got. It might be a week after she gets her green card or it might be a year after but he is going to lose it all. And you just know she wouldn't touch a pre-nup with a ten-foot-poll. She would probably scratch his eyes out just for saying the word.

He even said (either at reunion or during one of last episodes) that towards the end of the month they fight a lot because there is no money. So he lives month to month with no life savings at all.

shareI agree. In some ways I think he likes the "mother/child" thing. She's been pretty transparent about what's important to her; he just chooses to ignore it. It appears he has absolutely no self respect, which is really sad to me.
I've seen speculation that Jorge might have some sort of humiliation fetish or he might be into financial domination. If so, that would explain a lot.
