Too long & too chatty!

Hey great acting & stuff & funny too at times but way too much chatting & so overly long & not as good as some of Tarantino's other longish movies like Django or Basterds. I got kinda bored after a while u know but I looked at it til the end because of awesome acting. I just wish he didn't have every white person using the N word so much u know.

I've grown to see QT as more an inspirational artist than a brilliant filmmaker. Hopefully a whole new generation of filmmakers will take his flashes of brilliance and actually translate them into good movies. This movie in particular could have been a high water mark of the Western genre, but he simply couldn't restrain his usual impulses.

Gotta agree totally. Overly long and I love long movies. But it doesn’t hold up as well as Django and the Basterds. The first three quarters held up very well but died a slow death in the last act.

However, Jennifer Jason Leigh was probably the greatest acting job in all of Tarntino’s movies.

Yea she was awesome. I never seen her act so good like that but maybe she never had the chance to, huh? She was the best character in the movie I think.

That's a Tarantino movie for you: up its own ass for the sake of being up its own ass. Self indulgent garbage is how i'd describe his filmography.

You’re an idiot. Although this is far from his best, 95% of his flicks are real winners

It's a good looking film, love the snowy setting, some of the actors do their best but ultimately the script is dog shit.

"Why (insert character's name) as I live and breathe. Aren't you (backstory info dump)?".

"Well, yes I am. And you are?".

"Well I'm (backstory info dump)".

"Well I guess that makes us friends/enemies".

That's the movie for about two hours. Just characters exchanging their motivations with each other. It was beyond tedious.
