shareYeah. I do find it funny when John complains the coffee is bad. Now thinking of it, Minnie starts making coffee in the later flashback scene. So I guess it's just that they had left the coffee she made unheated and it went cold.
shareI always find it interesting that in the flashback to Jody Domingre(Domergue) telling his gang to get ready to "be patient" about finding the opportunity to kill John Ruth....he says nothing about poisoning the coffee. He must have discussed this plan -- and given Joe Gage the poison -- sometime earlier.

lol, I always assumed it was just the fact that they threw the bodies into the well, and grabbed water from that same well later, just before the bounty hunter & company arrived.
