All of these are, by definition, individual films. Just because Tarantino chooses to put two together and ignore one doesn't mean they're not films.
There's your problem; he doesn't count MBFB, because it was never officially released and only 36 mins of the film remain in existence. Even though Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 were released as individual films, he considers them one film.

But that doesn't make what he says fact. Just because he wants something to be true doesn't make it true. He's released ten films, by definition. He's made ten.
shareNine, being the Kill Bills I would give you, but he hasn't released 10 films, as MBFB was never actually released. As for the Kill Bills like I said, he classifies them as one film and at the end of the day, it's really up to him to determine it.

Just because he's a director doesn't mean he can say what's officially what. What if he said all of his films are actually just one long film? Does that mean it's just one film? And I'd say any made film is a film, whether or not it's released.
shareHe has a lot more say about than you do. And Kill Bill was filmed as one film and intended to be released as one film, but because of its length had to be split into two parts. It's even stated as being his fourth film in the trailers and everywhere else. It counts as one.

It's OFFICIALLY two films. Released as two films. What I say is the definition, so what I'm saying does mean more. He can't just go around changing definitions because of his huge ego and thinking his opinion is more important than everyone else. He's made ten films and released nine, by definition.
