Best Tarantino movie in years

And I don't even really like westerns. Don't get me wrong he's never really been BAD, Grindhouse withstanding. I dont know why, it just seemed more entertaining than the last two

I'm a contradiction 

Best Tarantino movie in years
yep. 3 years, to be precise.

I think Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Django & Death Proof were all better then this one. But this sure was better then Inglourious Basterds & Jackie Brown.

I agree, I enjoy is 'plausible story' movies much more.

Inglorious Bastards - the Nazis would kill thousands of innocents if one officer was killed made the story unlikely.

I have not seen Django Unchained yet. The Kill Bill series was an interesting homage to karate movies, but obviously it was in the fantasy relm.

Except for Leo's monologue Django was awful, the mindless yammering women ruined Deathproof, and Kill Bill was cartoonish with a stupid, pretentious Carradine monologue. Basterds was Tarantino getting his old 'lived-in dialogue' (the card game) mojo back again, and this sealed it. Great movie.
