Same thing...... Long dialogue that real people NEVER speak. Lame stupid violence to please his audience who are too afraid to watch porn so they get off on QT films. Overuse of the N word while claiming he is joy racist..... But let's say that word a lot!!!
Honestly..... His last good movie was JACKIE BROWN who let me guess? Most internet fans dislike?
*beep* film. JJL getting a Oscar mom was a joke!!!!! Lol
People rarely speak the way Aaron Sorkin or Woody Allen write their characters, but they're still regarded as the cream of the crop of screenwriting. Saying Tarantino writes bad dialogue because "real people NEVER speak" like that is honestly a silly argument to use against him.
Lame stupid violence to please his audience who are too afraid to watch porn so they get off on QT films.
And this one's even sillier. In case you failed to notice, most people think the violence in "The Hateful Eight" is incredibly nihilistic and cruel, the complete 180 of the arguably "cathartic" violence in "Inglourious Basterds" or "Django Unchained" or "Kill Bill".
Overuse of the N word while claiming he is joy racist..... But let's say that word a lot!!!
This sentence makes little to no sense the way it's presented here. I get you're trying to say Tarantino claims he isn't a racist, but he still uses "n * * * * r" a lot in his scripts. But there's a point to it in those his films, especially here as the subject is on the black man's role in a post-Civil War world and peoples' inability/unwillingness to change. John Ruth struggles not to call Major Warren that word because he thinks himself to be better than that while Daisy, Chris Mannix and Gen. Smithers have no qualms reminding Major Warren of who he is and where he came from.
This piece Devin Faraci did back in January will probably explain it better than I can:
And yes, Jennifer Jason Leigh did get nominated. Most people, until last year, had her at the top of their lists of actresses overdue for a nomination - for films like "Georgia" or "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle" - and she finally delivered a role after forever reminding everyone of how great she can be when given a plum role. The key to her performance here isn't what she says, but what she conveys through her body language. Subsequent viewings of the film reveal how conniving and observant Daisy is as a person
This is a great movie by QT, what are you talking about?? Also Jackie Brown sucks, Kill bill, inglorious basterds and Django were way better, so is this...
I just watched it, finally, for my first time. I liked it but didn't love it like I do Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django, Kill Bill & Death Proof. But I do think it's better then Inglourious Basterds and way way way better then Jackie Brown. Jackie Brown's his worst movie. What's an internet fan? LMMFAO
I agree about JJL - no way did she deserve an Oscar nom for that performance - worst I have ever seen her do, overacted and really annoying. Normally I like her, Tarantino was not at his best this time (the movie is imo a flop) and they all overacted more or less.
