Suggestion and question on how to find the treasure

We are wondering why the brothers haven't used a DEEP TRENCHING MACHINE and run a trench across the area where the box drains are supposedly located. Once you locate the box drains you could fill them up with concrete that will set up in water and close off the water filling the cavities. Then drain the holes to make exploration easier. We also wonder why HEAVY DUTY VACCUUMS haven't been used to remove the silt etc. in the bottom of both the holes? Looks like it would go far toward clearing up the visibility in the holes.
There are large groups of folks watching every week and we have an opinion on the divers you sent down into both holes. None of us trust the main diver...it is strange that others see things but every time he enters the holes...he sees and hears absolutely nothing.

Do we think there is a great treasure on Oak Island? 100% yes....many of us think the Templars did play a part in placing the treasure here. It must be something that could change the world. We all think the brothers are so amazing...along with the whole team.

Lastly, since there may be a body in 10X and due to the death of Nolan this year, more than enough people would have passed to negate the curse...so...onward.

Thanks for allowing the rest of us to live out this adventure with you!

TCoOI is a re-creation of previous searches from years ago, so don't take this show too seriously. They didn't find anything and gave up their search. As such, the entire show will end in a complete bust. But it is rather amusing to watch them try to pass this show off as legitimate.

Do we think there is a great treasure on Oak Island?

I sure hope you're not including me in "we," because I don't think there's any great treasure on Oak Island.

100% yes....many of us think the Templars did play a part in placing the treasure here. It must be something that could change the world.

Or more accurately stated: 100% no...the Templars did not play a part and there's nothing on Oak Island that could change the world.

We all think the brothers are so amazing...along with the whole team.

Why? Because they duped people into believing this show is real??? Do you always praise frauds so highly?

Lastly, since there may be a body in 10X...

Wait...so you believe that 10X, which was drilled in some completely random location, just so happened to be dug in the exact spot where there was a large opening complete with dead body (and treasure chest and tools)? You don't find that just a wee-bit peculiar?

...due to the death of Nolan this year, more than enough people would have passed to negate the curse...so...onward.

You don't really understand the "curse," do you?

The adventure ended years ago.

I've heard it said that this show is recreating searches the Laginas already completed, but does anyone have a source for this?

Yes.

Please elaborate. lol

Someone on these boards posted the information complete with source. I don't remember who or when, but the information was posted. Since Cydnee9999 has earned the reputation for providing very useful information, I'd be inclined to guess she posted the info. Unfortunately, imdb deleted many threads pertaining to this show, so you might not be able to find it. I'd suggest start reading her posts in the threads she authored. If that doesn't work, then click on her name and read the rest of her posts for this show. If that doesn't work, then send her a message (or reply to one of her posts) and ask. Maybe she'll see your request and respond.

The above thread indicates satellite views taken in 2013 closely resemble what was shown in a recent episode. So the big question is when was the show filmed? I'd have a really hard time believing The History Channel sat on this footage for a few years with no return on their investment, though that is certainly possible. Since a recent episode acknowledged Fred Nolan's death, who died in June 2016, I'm inclined to believe filming is more current than 2013, though THC could have filmed an update and spliced it into their old footage.

Drag lines have been run by previous expeditions and Dunfield basically strip mined the money pit and determined that geologically the flood tunnels were impossible. There are no flood tunnels, never were, it's natural water flooding. As to the silt, no good answer for C1, they didn't even have to vacuum it. The visibility was excellent when they first drilled, they could have just stayed in the swing and filmed. Maybe they think it makes for more dramatic TV. As to not trusting John Chatterton, he has no incentive to see things that aren't there, unlike the others, maybe he's not the one you shouldn't trust.
