Clowns

I enjoyed this documentary for the most part and it had my full attention until they got to the 'clown segment.'

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I've never heard of any urban legends involving clowns. Yes, many people are terrified of clowns. That is a fact not an urban legend. All of the other segments in the documentary had introductions of the actual urban legend but this one just showed some famous clowns (ie: J.W Gacey & the clown from It). It just felt very out of place. Did I miss something?

Yeah I agree that the clownsegment was the least entertaining segment

It was just very unfocused to me, it was just like 'let's make a segment about clowns so let's talk about clowns and everything crimerelated with clowns' where as with the other segments they had actual legends that lead to proper crimes that inspired them to talk about

But I understand why they'd use a clown segment though as it is a big fear of many but there wasn't really much to dig into, fact is me and other 80's/90's and so forth kids got scared of clowns from watching 'It' and that's really all there is to it (no pun intended)

I found it a little interesting that they made big point that Gacy/Pogo had a pointed smile and triangle eyes, and that clowns would never use sharp points because is scares children and connotes evil, and then they immediately connect with a clown historian in clown makeup who has a pointed smile and triangle eyes with sharp points.
