Yes, he's had more stinkers than I've flushed down the toilet, but once in a while he does surprise with a good movie with a modicum of social comment - Rampage, Assault on Wall Street, Tunnel Rats, just to name three. I'm certainly going to reserve my judgement on this until I see it.
Perhaps I'm also the only one that found House of the Dead a lot of fun. Extremely stupid, yes, but a lot of fun. I find the guy quite likeable, he doesn't take himself or the movie industry seriously and occasionally does come up with something entertaining.
craps all over what hollywood brought this year and yeah Uwe made some crap, but he has my respect now
