There are a lot of things to take away from this film but I saw the first one and knew what I was in for. What I took away most was the abusively abundant shaky cam work. Nearly every scene had it. Even when the film cut to POV of a supposedly professional camera crew, they couldn't hold a single shot. This was laughable and really took me out of the movie. One of the better works by Boll but you probably know that's not much of a compliment.

shareUnfortunately I feel that shaky cam is a bit of a Boll trademark and I feel he wears it with pride... he should not as shaky cam is not cool nor is it artistic .. it is just shaky, unstable and detracts from everything else about a movie.
Perhaps directors who employ the shaky cam method actually intend to distract the viewer from the fact that they have nothing else of value in their work??
I dont like it but it didnt bother me that much here.
