I just can't get myself to watch this movie....

Each time I attempt to watch this movie, somehow I suddenly feel very tired and it's much later than I realize. So I just go to bed.
Some day I will succeed in watching this movie.

I kind of feel the same way, but just noticed 44,000 ratings - really? I may have to take one for the team.

reply

OK. So I watched it. It's entertaining, has some good parts and good laughs but I do not get all the gushing on how wonderful it is, nor the very high rating.

I feel there are definitely inflated/fake ratings for this movie. Dead Snow (and its sequel) is so much better than this movie but is rated lower. Dead Snow is over 6 years old, but WWDITS is less than 1 year old and has close to the same number of votes for a low budget/small production from New Zealand. I also checked the reviewers and many only had 1 entry, of course professing love for this movie.

I looked up Dead Snow (I haven't seen it) and it doesn't seem to be a comedy so I don't know how it can be compared to WWDITS.

reply

It is - it's a horror comedy (light comedic moments). Dead Snow 2 is even funnier and might even be better than the first (I'm undecided and haven't watched back to back).

reply

So if something doesn't tickle you it must be faked ratings? Can you get any further up your own ass I wonder?

Getting old sucks, huh.

I started watching it last night and fell asleep. Watched the remainder tonight and love bed it. Strays a little towards the end but overall a great movie.

So drink some coffee and watch the movie, Miora. It's hilarious!

Do you like bis-ghetti?

reply

That's what you get for trying to watch the movie all the way to the end credits.

You will never end up watching it that way.
