WWDITS as a series.

I lent this movie to one of my friends, and he said "I wish it was a TV series".

I would absolutely love for that to happen. I was just wondering if anybody else thinks that would be cool.

reply

Yes! Just finished watching it and was hoping for more scenes! Hopefully it will build a bigger cult following like Wet Hot American Summer.

Yasss!!! If not a series can we at least have a sequel?!! This movie was too good not to continue. More please.

I heard a rumour that they're making a sequel based with the werewolves but I'm not sure if it's been confirmed yet.

reply

A sequel is almost definitely in the pipeline, although it's still in the planning stages:

They were thinking of calling this follow-up (which focuses on the werewolf gang) 'What We Do In The Moonlight' but according to this article, the current working title is apparently 'We're Wolves'.

Yessss! Night-time.

I would totally watch that series! Loved this movie!

Seriously. Fantastic idea. This *beep* was funny!

I strong-armed my dad into watching the film after trying to get him to sit down and do it for forever, and the first thing he said was "I would watch a series of this." LOL.

Somehow I don't think this would work as a TV series. Most movies don't. However I'm definitely on board for a sequel!

It'd be cool to see a sequel or have it be set in another country, like somewhere in Europe or America.

It would be good as a series BBC style (Blackadder, Sherlock, ...) with four to six episodes per series rather than 18-21 like in the United States.

That would keep the blood fresh.

Having a werewolves sequel before hand would be great to kick of the series.

I wonder if the original short, at 27 minutes, was meant to be a pilot.

Well, your friend had his wish.

They also announced it on their official Facebook page.

Same world, but it is a cop show with police officers Karen and Mike being the main characters. I was hoping for more episodes with just the vampires and werewolves.
