This was bad, so bad, bad bad bad monkey

I'm not sure why I watched the first two movies of this series. Maybe due to being sucker for the futuristic end of the world type of thing.

Even after watching the first two, I was utterly confused. I couldn't even remember really what had happened or why from the past. This was so utter miserable I can't believe it even got made. And this wasn't bad in a good way, this was horrid.

I guess it teaches me to dip my toes into the Twilight, Maze Runner type of teenie light weight skim milk nothingness. I did so well up to this point in avoiding all of these movies. But I have to conclude this has to be lumped in with the other ones too.

Don't feel alone. I was so confused also. Could not remember the last 2 movies.

I liked the first film. Second started to lose me mainly because the tech wasn't consistent with the first film, even though it happens directly after. Also the dream sequences were over bearing and occurred too often. I get that the point was for her to blam herself and then later forgive herself but there was no reason to start the beginning of the movie with a dream, and then have re-occurring dreams with basically the same shots 5 other times. It was stupid.

Allegiant, I had no idea what the hell this movie was. It didn't even seem to be in the same universe as the first two films. It turned into a cliche. Protagonist is now the 'chosen' one and the male character is super reflex man. The Sci Fi CGI technology was so unbelievably nonsensical. Magical surveillance that can see literally everything ever? Camo'd drones with cameras would have made more sense. It was almost as if they were all in the Matrix and had super powers. Also the film seemed colorized, everything was way too yellow. The actor's skin didn't look human.

I'm sure this has been says a million times- but it was trying so hard to bring 'hunger Games' elements.
The theme of them all being watched, like a show. Her shooting and destroying the 'illusion'.
The snow character.
Just annoy g!

I thought I remembered enough about the 2nd movie (Insurgent) to make me believe it was the end of the saga. Judging by this disastrous attempt to keep the story going, one can only wish Insurgent was the end.
