I really want to see how it ends.
I really loved the first movie. The second wasn't as great but this third was great again.
Maybe the books are much better, I should read those but I liked these movies and the actors.
I read that they would only make a tv version because the last movie got so bad review but now I ain't seeing that either so have they canceled any more movie ?
Regretfully there will be no more Divergent movies. If we are lucky, though, there will be a television series.

The next movie is called Ascendant for release 2019.
If they really wanted to do a sequel, they could have filmed it back to back with Allegiant. The studio behind the movie, Lionsgate, are the same people who split Twilight's Breaking Dawn and THG's Mockingjay.

Lionsgate owns Starz, which has been commissioning the Outlander tv series that is adapted from the Outlander novel series.
I didn't know that Lionsgate owned them. It's hard to imagine Ascendant being on their network, though. It seems like the sort of thing that would go down really well on CW.

It’s usually unfortunate when a movie franchise doesn’t get a proper ending, but when it comes to the Divergent franchise, it was likely for the best.
They could've changed the ending since so many readers were upset by it. Many movies make major changes from the source material.
Oh, well! At least I know the ending now.
