Please tell me Peter (Miles Teller) is killed off!!

i'm not a big fan of the actor but i absolutely hate the Peter character. please tell me he dies in the books and hopefully in the final film as well.

reply

You asked for it... In the books, he doesn't die but he gets his memory erased (by choice, if I remember correctly?)

Yeah I hated him just as much and he's even worse in the books. But anything could change in the final movie, maybe they'll kill him off.

thanx for the info clockwork! :)

Are you kidding? Peter is the best character in the story! While others were busy fighting a war that they were made to believe worthy, Peter's the only one who think for himself. He doesn't care about factions or friends or loyalty, he only cares what's best for him, so in fact he's the smartest one of all.

So you relate to sociopathic behavior? That character is a traitor and scumbag.

reply

Traitors and scumbags often survive the world, doubling the rewards while paying half the efforts, while naive people who believed in honesty working their life off for other people's benefits, only ends up to be forgotten, and living in poverty til the end of day.

Any what's wrong with sociopathic behavior? It opens your eyes to view things from another angle, broaden your mind with different perspectives. Being a sociopath no necessarily mean you oppose everything without a reason, but to study both pros and cons of a situation, and decide what's best for yourself, instead of what the majority follows, because it's possible that more than half of them don't know the choices they pick.

Sociopaths have no moral concern for others. Life isn't all about you and your needs and it won't lead to happiness either. What would it profit you to gain the world only to lose your soul?

reply

If you have to ask: money, power, pride, fame... and everything else one covets - things that parents and schools taught you that you can earn by honest hard work, which by the way are total BS.

BINGO!

He's the guy you love to hate and every movie needs that. He's way way better than Daniels or Winslet as to the 'hate factor'.

Teller is a great actor and he played it to a tee.

"Let me just recap this for you real quick. We start off in a blender, now we're saving lives!"

reply

I hope not! Peter may be a bad guy but he is presented as humorous as he is unlikeable, the most despicable things he does are balanced out by the good. He is a complicated character, much like Professor Snape from Harry Potter. I hope Peter is around for a long, long time!!!

reply

I actually hope Miles Teller gets killed off in any movie I find him in.

"Well...I've seen enough. Come on Charlie, we're going home."

The funny thing is Miles Teller is just playing himself. He just as obnoxious and egotistical in person from what I've read.
