If it wasn’t for the involvement of critical darlings Denis Villenue and Roger Deakins, people would have dismissed this film ... just like they did “Sicario: Day of the Soldado”, which had a lesser known director and cinematographer (but the same writer).
shareI don't know. I didn't dismiss either, and I liked the sequel. It wasn't directed as well but it was still good.
