Let's face it guys, he may be a funny stand up and Partridge is comedy gold BUT everyone of his films have been sh*te.

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa- pish
Our Idiot Brother - Crap
The Other Guys - Dreadful
Around the World in 80 Days - Cak
The Parole Officer - Pointless

If Stan and Ollie is any good, that will be a first for Coogan

Alpha Papa was great, so was A Cock and Bull Story, so was Philomena, so was Tropic Thunder, so was Hamlet 2.

But otherwise, a solid thread.

I like that series he did where he played the ex rock and roll roady who didn't realize that he was no longer as cool as he once was.

All the films you list have nothing on The Alibi. Alpha Papa and The Other Guys are great, Around the World in 80 Days was decent, the other two aren't that bad put up against some of the stuff passing as comedy nowadays.

Never been a big fan of Steve Coogan and don't really know these films - but Stan and Ollie is really bloody good.
