The Sam Elliott character -- "Wade Garrett" has been removed from the new Road House. Garrett was an "aging good gunslinger"(bouncer) who mentors the hero and comes to help him fight the bad guys at the Road House.
But if the role were still there...who could play it?
My first vote goes to ...Sam Elliott.
Anybody else?
Brad Pitt could have played it well.

Well, my vote is that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is an interesting film...something big happens at the end, but the two and a half hours getting there is well-written, well-acted "hang out stuff." And even the hangout parts have a little action and suspense -- two scenes with Brad Pitt.
