Jumpscare > jumpscare > jumpscare -.-

Same old, same old.

Why does every modern/recent "horror" movie have to over-use jumpscares or even flat out rely on them?
By now, you can identify a good horror if it doesn't rely on this crap. And why is it always some "mysterious" crap now and disfigured faces all over the place? Since 'The Ring', this didn't find an end, creepy faces and supernatural yadda yadda everywhere... because actual writing is difficult.

Fock you Movie studios.

It's to get attention of all the kids who are too busy texting in the cinema :D

Attention spans are a thing of the past, didn't you know?

There were movies which didn't use overuse them or rely on them.

I'm not sure what you tried to say here, you're saying that there weren't any creepy faces and supernatural stuff before The Ring?

reply

Of course there were.
I just think since The Ring this went through the roof, as if there's nothing else anymore. It has to be some creepy girl now from some well, a mirror, or whatever.
