exactly like Unfriended.

Kind of but not exactly, considering that Friend Request was shot before Undriended back in 2014.

Except, Unfriended was shot back in 2014 and released theatrically in 2015. I believe you might have your dates backwards, because Unfriended came first.

Except Friend Request finished filming in March 2014 and Unfriended October 2014, Unfriended released 2015 and the FR in 2016.
