Why didnt she smash the laptop spoiler possible alternative Ending

At the end all she had to do was smash the laptop to stop the witchcraft that's what she was looking for so why not smash it.

Film wasn't so bad though but the ending seemed like it was changed to hi there of a sequal. I bet theirs an alternative ending.

Laura seemed very susceptible to Marina's magick from the start. I think she got pulled in because she looked into it. If she hadn't looked into it, she could have maybe resisted.

Because we are seeing something that might have been going on for longer than we think. The lonely girl might also have been a pawn as well.

The biggest problem of the film is simply the facebook friend error coming up only to the people that tried on film to delete the account but then why were friends list getting lower if the error was happening? She had like 800+ friends and I'm almost certain not all those people were dying. That's basically the biggest flaw of the movie. I suppose if she had "fake" friends they were able to unfriend her... but it's still sketchy.

If not for this, the movie was actually pretty freaky and scary. It reminds me of The Ring but with more logic behind it. Basically the witchcraft/ghost is so powerful that you are screwed.

The reason why she was losing her 800+ friends weren't from them being killed. They had no idea about Ma Rina. What they saw of Ma Rina was what she posted on Laura's account. The suicides and deaths that Laura didn't post on her account caused people to be disgusted of Laura and they unfriended her. They didn't die. She simply started to be hated. The only people who died were those who were close to her. Ma Rina simply wanted Laura to be completely alone, which is why she posted all of that stuff on Laura's facebook page, so people would hate her and delete her as a friend.

So, it does make sense, just some people didn't understand that those numbers were falling because people were starting to hate Laura and unfriend her. Not die.

Hope that explanation helps!
