Lauren was being all so nice about it and she's only the victim because marina decided to try and be friends with her. because she's unsuccessful with finding a friend she goes on a killing rampage. Lauren ain't deserved anything. I know it's just a film but I wanted to say this.

Her character was pathetic. Not even scary or threatening. Just a whiny little bitch who complains about not having friends and feeling sorry for herself. Well it's cuz she act's like a total obsessive freak who posts morbid crap.

shareI believe the real girl died when she was young and the ghost took her over along time ago if I go by the ending. They don't actually talk about her teenage years much.

Marina's life sucked balls at college and she was able to sucker in one friend.
She didn't make any other friends. Coincidence? I don't think so.
The only part of the movie I didn't like was that her friend list was going down and down....BUT her close friends and mother couldn't unfriend her. That's about the only thing I really didn't make sense of at the time. I wish that had been explained because they tried to be logical about all the ghost stuff and the backstory but not something that makes no sense... but easily could have been fixed. All they needed to do was show that error and not show her friends list going down, prob fixed.
By showing the list going down, I understand that is what the ghost wants... but the movie wanted a gimmick to stop her close friends from unfriending her to save their life... see... that's the mistake.

I think it was everyone at that birthday dinner that couldn't unfriend her and ultimately died. That was the the birthday party ma rina had invited herself to and got told it was for close friends only or with her b/f ( can't remember) but I think that put ma rina over the edge.

she did not deserve to be stalked harassed and abused by marina. people can't use troubled background to justify bad behaviour all their lives - marina was not in high school, she was in college and she should have sought help. it was not laura's job to fix her.
marina had no right to harass (30 messages a day in harassment) laura- after harassing someone why would u expect to be introduced to their mother and boyfriend?
marina was unreasonable and a psycho....laura's biggest mistake was even giving her the time of day

All of Laura's friends were s h i t t y people. The latina girl was the worst. Cold and thought too much of herself and of her jester of a boyfriend. A latina, fat woman who should understand what it means to be outcast. I don't condone murder but what a bunch of idiots. Laura was the only one with a heart, that's why she didn't die.

In the movie Unfriended I was actually cheering for the ghost cause she was a sympathetic character. Here the ghost or witch was just a bitch. It would be cool to see the ghost from Unfriended kick the ass of Marina.
