There was way too much group webcam stuff in ufriended, they should of used a combination of webcam and regular format filming...it just wasn't scary to me. Friend Request was way better, imo!
shareNo. =P Well I though Unfriended was better and thought this one had too many similarities to that film. Unfriended was creepy since one can relate to sitting by one self in front of the computer. Made it more real and creepy. I liked it.
shareSorry, have to disagree!...=p The whole "split screen webcam gimmick" just wasn't scary to me. The story line was ok, but would of liked it better if was like i mentioned in my op. Also, i thought the movie Ratter was more creepier than unfriended too.
shareSorry fans of Unfriended but Friend Request was heaps better (you did care for the players, while in Unfriended, the players played horrible characters (that overweight kid was annoying as well)).
And Friend Request was a lot more scarier as well.

shareFR is the better film, it's a lot better than unfriended which is just a basic and generic slasher movie dressed up to seem great just because of the modern technology aspect.

Oh this was easily miles better than Unfriended. Although I don't think either film was all that great, Friend Request was still the better film on almost every level.

sharei just made a post about this. yes, without a doubt, friend request is substantially and significantly better than unfriended. unfriended is just a forgettable basic, and shallow slasher movie disguised to be something more just because of it's modern technology aspect. friend request is so much deeper in terms of original plot ideas, scare scenes, details, original ideas, and character development than unfriended. it's so much more of a fulfilling experience watching friend request compared to watching unfriended.
the 5.3 rating on here is a joke. this film, friend request should be at 7.0 on here because it's a 7.0 out of 10 rating film.
