It's like they try to make a "Samara" from facebook XD

The story is very like The Ring... a misterious-weird girl with weird images on her facebook (just like the tape from The Ring), all those images were actual locations (just like the movie), the evil girl wants to "inhabit" the girl's body (like The Ring 2), the main girl investigate the weird girl's past...

Those are all pretty vague similarities. The finer details - their backgrounds, motives, and ultimately who they target, are rather different.
