My idea on how to end the franchise (again)

After listening to the commentary on Jigsaw it became clear that the producers still do want to connect Jigsaw to the rest of the franchise as much as possible and they even hint at things moving forward and that got me thinking about how and when this could all end and I think I have a good idea that connects back to Dr. Gordon.

Perhaps there is a tape that John made explicitly for Logan that got lost in the Gideon Factory after his death or it was given to Dr. Gordon but he couldn't give the tape to Logan because he was at war at the time. The tape would state something along the lines of, "Hello Logan. I may not have much time left in this world so I wanted to give you this message incase anything happens to Amanda, Mark or I. You helped me to learn what is important in life and what I should be teaching my subjects and while I am ever grateful for that, eventually, everything must come to an end. The ultimate test will be to see if our work has changed those in the public without having to physically test them. You have a family you need to take care of. They should always come first. I wish I still had what you have and maybe if I did, none of this would have been possible. So, I ask you Logan, please walk away, appreciate those around you, appreciate your time with your wife and daughter and live a happy life. This job doesn't have a happy ending and you have the chance to have one. Goodbye Logan."

This would connect to John losing Gideon and the pain that put him through as well as the destruction of his marriage to Jill. Not only that but if Dr. Gordon makes a return to this franchise in Jigsaw 2 or 3 (assuming 3 is the final one), this would connect to him as well. Before John put him in the bathroom game, he was considering cheating on his wife and neglecting his daughter. Perhaps we find out that after Saw I, even though he was helping John with a few things here and there from 2-4, he has been spending his time fixing his relationship with his family and now he is a happier and changed man. Perhaps Gordon only returns to stop the games like he did with Hoffman in 7 and gives Logan this tape to try to stop him but in the end it could be too late. Perhaps this tape could also be found by someone other than Gordon (Eleanor perhaps? She did say in Jigsaw, "This could be our chance to help people", so maybe she doesn't want to actually BE Jigsaw but is just a fan?) and it implicates him in the death of Holloran and anyone else in Jigsaw 2 and 3 and thats how people find out that he is an apprentice and perhaps he loses his daughter because of this and he sees no way out. Maybe because of that he even turns down Gordon's chance to retire being Jigsaw and Gordon has to lock him in the bathroom as punishment or Gordon could alert the authorities to the location of the Bathroom and Gordon and Logan are both in the refurbished house above (could be revealed that it was refurbished to be a safe house for Hoffman/Logan in the event that their identities are released)?

These are just my thoughts though.
