Its a legitimate horror movie - as opposed to haunted house and found footage BS, so it should be pretty decent.

The first Saw was the only one in the franchise that was ever actually good.
They are continue the late October right before Halloween tradition. It won't flop. These films never cost Lionsgate too much money. They have made a killing out of this franchise to afford 3 more of these movies even of they underperform.

I just hope they keep the budget low and make the movie feel very raw and dark, like the first.

I don't really understand why people stop caring if a long awaited sequel comes out if they like the previous one. So you are 15 years older.. so what? You don't like horror movies anymore? Or you got some dumb kids that haven't watch the original yet even though that shouldn't matter, because they didn't number the new film anyway.
For me i'm like..Damn finally this sequel came out. Gotta see it.
