Any belief that they may return? Since they are the ones confirmed at the end of saw 7 in the pig masks along with gordon?

Let's not use the word 'confirmed'. Those pig masked guys were purposely not revealed so they could leave it open - the guys on the commentary just said it was Brad and Ryan so it didn't get left unanswered after everyone was annoyed about it in cinemas.

Brad and Ryan being the two pig masks probably isn't canon anymore. Just like how Gordon being dead according to the Saw 1 commentary isn't canon anymore. They could always change it during filming.
