If this film will be any good, I like the saw films, but look who's wrote the films, not really filling me with much confidence, then again I could be wrong on this.
shareIt's important to know that the writers only wrote the first Pirhana film remake, which is supposed to be a horror/crude comedy. I think they did quite well. That rubbish sequel was written by some other guys. also, after doing a little research, I believe that Lionsgate already had a story outline proposed for an 8th Saw, they just needed a writer or two to flesh out some details and out it in screenplay format.

shareNo it wasn't. The two writers of Saw Legacy are credited as writers because they wrote the first and essentially created the universe, however they did not write the screenplay of Pirhana DD
shareThe Piranha sequel was written by the Saw writers, not the news guys that wrote Saw Legacy, but the guys who wrote Saw 4,5,6 and 3D.
Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan wrote the Piranha sequel.
