Big fan of the Saw movies! Just wanted to get anyone's take on how the story will continue..? I think they might look at this like a reboot with a brand new set of characters but with maybe a couple flashback to jigsaw etc. Might be the only direction they cant do as I read an article saying Leigh Whannel and Cary Elwes are not confirmed for this film.

shareI liked the first few then it got ridiculous as they kept finding ways to reintegrate Jigsaw into the story. But I'll definitely watch the new one, especially if it's a reboot. Hope he goes after corrupt bankers and government officials this time.
shareYea I thought 4 was poor at the time then the series picked up again. Looking back I think its a pretty good development across the 7 movies. Would like to see him targeting a specific group...what if delinquent children had taken over the jigsaw legacy and start targeting anyone in authority...? could be interesting, almost children of the corn esque!
shareI don't have a problem with authority... just corrupt leaders. I don't know if children would work, doesn't seem like it would be Saw with that concept.
shareThis will be a soft reboot, meaning Jigsaw's legacy will continue with a new person pulling the strings with all the traps.
shareI just hope they explain Gordon's absence, and Hoffman (if he died in the bathroom). I'm ok with the soft reboot direction as long as they tie up loose ends.
