Part of the agreement for doing the interview with the "reformed" vampires was that the crew was not to bring crosses, stakes or holy water to the home of the vampires during the interview....no problem what's the worst that could happen?

It makes sense though: They're "sophisticated and intelligent" and scoff at quaint superstitious mythos, not to mention tolerance is (supposedly) the top Liberal value, which would include tolerance of the undead.
