Truely Awful

I finally got a chance to watch it and was appalled at just how bad it was.
First I am just so sick of reimagining stories that I wish it was a federal felony punishable by death to do this.

I cannot think of a single re-imagining that worked. Perhaps the worst was Fantastic Four when they tried so desperately to make it politically correct.

When did TIger Lily become a white blondish/brunette with blue eyes, proper English speaking British woman who dressed like Cyndi Lauper with the worst make up ever?

When did they start making women in fairy tales WARRIOR WOMEN. Maid Marion comes to mind from that horrific Robin Hood attempt.

When did Captain Hook become a handsome short haired roguish Han Solo. The bit where he comes back and saves the day made me want to just lose my lunch.

AND for chrissake what was with the attempt to put modern music in this? TEEN SPIRIT??WTF? That was so bad as was all the others.

Look it worked beautifully for A Knight's Tale but this just had the worst direction.

And why the boilerplate...kid from orphanage, gets out and with others is a coward, then his protectors fight bad guy, get captured, good guy gets killed, fight way out, get captured again, truths are told, then major change to hero status.

BUT my big question is what the hell were investors thinking when they put up the tens of millions to make this garbage and what was the cast thinking..oh right they weren't..paycheck. What was the studio thinking when they greenlighted this travesty??????

This should have been shot down so fast like it never existed.

BUT I will say the CGI was beautiful. The script was one of the very worst and the director should never work in films again.
