Hugh Jackman should have played Hook.
His performance in the film fits the character perfectly anyway.

Agreed. Hollywood needs to stop trying to make Garrett Hedlund happen. He's a handsome and capable actor, but he's proven time and time again that he's not a star. Jackman would have killed it as Hook. Look at how much he did with the little he was given as Blackbeard.
