I've been reading through this message board and it seems like most people aren't liking this film. I think it's a super fun version of Peter Pan! I'm loving this movie! It's hilarious, fun, and a new spin on an old classic! What's not to love? I love that Hook and Peter start off as friends, or maybe frienemies! Either way, they work together!

I remember going to the theater to see this. I was excited because I had never seen a Wright film on the big screen before. I left disappointed. It looked like he was trying to make a Spielberg atrocity. 🤮
I've watched it on TV since then and grown to like it more. It's not the worst movie ever, but Wright was not working at his potential.
Count me in, too, among those who liked the film on many levels.
Jackman and Miller have strong chemistry together and the relationship of their characters gives the story of Peter a new twist. Will Blackbeard rise again if ever there was a sequel to this one?

I think that this is a reasonable inventive twist to the Peter Pan story. I enjoyed the colourful effects and the atmospheric scene-settings.
