Horrendous. What a mess lol.

Let me just throw the possessed doll in the back of my car and then casually look at the ghost, pause a second and take my sweet time getting inside..whoops I didn't make it. I wonder why?

This entire movie made absolutely no sense. Poor decisions, horrible acting from the lead actress and laughable plot holes/writing.

Then when the woman gives her life in the end to the devil..what's the point of that? She will forever be tortured in hell and it accomplishes NOTHING. What a nutter.

The movie made it clear with the priest's voice-over that her sacrifice in the end was honored, she gave her life, not her soul. The giving of blood would sway the demon, but it got no soul.

Since when has good wanted blood sacrifices?
That's what the demons want and since when would a god expect a person to kill themselves to save a child that is born without sin.
Any benevolent, loving merciful god would not expect someone to kill themselves to protect a baby.
An adult possibly but not a baby.

Both the wife and I were laughing at the priest for the same thing you point out: "Hey, let me take this doll, that I'm pretty sure is the conduit for a demon, and move it from the front seat where I can at least keep some kind of eye on it, to the back seat where, oh I don't know, it can freak me out from behind. Yeah, that's better."

What a goof. We were both screaming, "You deserve it, old man! You deserve to be demon-fodder!"
