Why Is This Rated R?

There's no graphic or disturbing violence in it, or any f-bombs, so why is it rated R? It's probably one of the least scary movies I've watched.

Well, there is some minor blood, so that could be the excuse.

The REAL reason is because The Conjuring got a ton of buzz for earning an R-Rating simply because of "how scary it was", so they probably made sure Annabelle would follow suit to hopefully generate the same buzz.

MPAA thinks it's way too scary to be PG-13. Even though I don't find the movie that scary.
