Those things did not exist in 1969

The movie was good. I was pregnant in 1969, there was no "911" yet, you had to dial operator and ask for the police, fire, or ambulance. I think we had "911"service in early 1970's. Also, there were no ultrasounds available in 1969. These things would not even be noticed by the usual 20 something audience.

Actually, they both did. The first 911 call was made in February 1968. Obstetric ultrasonography was first used in the early 1960's.

If you had read a little further you would have learned that most municipalities did not receive this service until the 1970s, and in some cases until the 1980s.

Do a little critical thinking before trying to show someone up on the Internet.

ONE thing, despite the release by Warners, and the scary topic and the setting of the 1960s of this ironically:
NO SCOOBY-DOO!! (or others..despite that there were kid characters-flesh and blood ones!), and same for the "step=parent" flick, "ConjurinG!"

What I wondered is, was the name Mia even popular during that time frame? I don't believe it was.

reply

Mia Farrow.

Mia was a tip of the hat to Rosemary’s Baby, 1968.

The faucet in the bathroom sink she uses after she accidentally stitches her finger most certainly wasn't true to the times.
