Isn't this the same Will Smith that glorified Boxing?

If I remember right, Will Smith showed the sport of Boxing in an extremely positive light? Right?

The very fact that there has never been no movie about research into what happens to boxers shows this is a precursor to a money grab. Remember what happen after all the anti-smoking movies? BOOM lawsuits, taxes, and well... more lawsuits.

Will has sucked for a long time, put homey next to Lawrence Fishburne or Denzel Washington and you can see he is nothing more than a journeyman comedic actor. I busted out laughing when I head his lame attempt at, well whatever that accent was.

He needs to stick to films like Indepemdence Day and Men in Black roles and leave blatant political propaganda to Sean Peean and Danny Glover.

I know right? It's almost like he gets paid to play different characters.

You realize that he's an actor, right? You know, a person paid to look cool and recite his lines only? He didn't write the film, he didn't produce the film.

You think any actor should actually believe in his role? E.g. an actor playing a drug dealer should actually have criminal tendencies?

Or to put it another way, an actor who plays a drug dealer shouldn't be playing a cop in his next film? Very interesting point of view.

Never be complete.

As others have said, he's an actor. Furthermore, he was portraying Muhammad Ali, who happened to be a boxer. The movie was about the man, hence the title "Ali," not the sport.

And then we learned something new. Imagine that.
