If they do bring this Kingpin into the MCU to fight Spider-man, how would you handle the power level difference?
In the comics Kingpin was a freak of nature, over-muscled behemoth who could flip cars and crush super-human people in bearhugs. D'onofrio's Kingpin is a lot more grounded. He's on the border of super-human, but Holland's Spider-man stopped a car with his legs and supported an aerobridge. He flat out is super-human.
Do you keep him a cerebral threat who doesn't challenge Spider-man to a fight? Might be boring because the audience is expecting an Act 3 climax. Plus Kingpin being a combination of brains and brawns has been a staple of his character since he was created. Taking out one would feel weird. Do you have him buy himself super-strength with his money? Do you go the way of Spectacular Spider-man's Tombstone, where he's just really really strong with no explanation, but the character is so well written you don't care. General audiences won't be bothered. Not everything needs to be explained and his crazy strength might make his character more mysterious, but fans of the Netflix show will feel there's a hole in the plot connecting to the show. Maybe have Daredevil put in a throwaway line "he was never this strong when we fought," and than a few vague hints that something was done to him (experiments maybe). Might be better than a cheap plot device where he sticks a needle in his arm and now he's the hulk.
