They are really pushing the inter-connective universe even in the comics

Not only are they doing the four sereis and the Defenders mini-series, but they are doing something similar in the comics. Just read that along with Daredevil, in February, They are starting Elektra #1, Kingpin #1, and Bullseye #1, It will be a "crossed continuity Daredevil universe within Marvel Comics." They are also going to be (another) Iron Fist series apparently.

No more games. No more chessboard of life. Now I think I'm just going to beat the $%#@ out of you!!!

Been doing it for decades. Back in the old days, you'd pick up an issue of something new like Daredevil, and start reading. But then they'd mention something you're not familiar with, and it would say "Check out X-Men #175!" at the bottom, so then you go to the comic shop and have them order X-Men #175, only to find out that it's issue 1 of a 4 issue mini-series, and they are joined by Ghost Rider. You're not familiar with Ghost Rider (no Wikipedia or Google, just comic nerds to ask lol), so you get your hands on some issues of Ghost Rider and start reading, and it all starts again.

Six months later, you're buying Daredevil, X-Men and Ghost Rider monthly, and need to research The Avengers, Iron Fist, Shang-Chi and Silver Surfer...

Yeah I know about that but for this it is more specific and the four books are in their own part of the universe. Like instead of the X-Men "universe" it's gonna be the Daredevil "universe".

It's interesting that bad guys are getting their own titles now. The stories are quite different. They really did a lot of that during the 'Dark Reign' storyline a few years ago. Villains are as interesting as the heroes.
